Illinois College’s literary journal, Forte, is a biannual print journal.  We love to read work by the Illinois College community, so we encourage students as well as alumni, faculty, and staff to send work this way.  

We accept poetry and prose (fiction/nonfiction) and are open to any forms or genres.  All work must be original and unpublished in print or online.  We accept simultaneous submissions just notify us immediately if your work is accepted elsewhere. If your work is accepted, you will receive two contributor copies of the issue.

Please send 1-5 poems (no longer than 50 lines each) or prose less than 4,000 words.
